Baramulla/IBNS: JK People's Justice Front organised a blood donation camp in memory of Martyr Mohd Maqbool Sherwani at Baramulla.

JK People's Justice Front today  07 November 2021 organised a blood donation camp at Government Medical College Baramulla in memory of Mohammad Maqbool Sherwani -- a true patriot who saved Jammu and Kashmir from tribal invasion in 1947.

On this occasion 60 plus units of blood were donated.

The outfit's chairman, Agha Syed Abbas Rizvi, highlighted the role of Mohd Maqbool Sherwani in saving Jammu and Kashmir from falling in to tribal hands.

Magbool Sherwani was a true nationalist, who sacrificed his life for the cause of the nation, over and above the lines of caste, color or religion but has not received the due recognition from the Governments till date.

"He fought against Pakistan, unarmed. This is the Jihad, not the one that the state has been reeling under since the last 30-35 years and ruining the life and property of innocent Kashmiri masses," Rizvi said.

Unfortunately, the central government has forgotten the role played by Mohd Maqbool, he lamented.

He also mentioned that youth should know about the sacrifice made by this true patriot and this donation program is just a tribute to the martyr.
