Journalist Jehangir Pocha passes away

New Delhi, July 12 (IBNS): Senior TV journalist and Editor-in-Chief of NewsX news channel Jehangir Pocha died on Saturday morning from a cardiac arrest.

Former Editor of Businessworld , Pocha was also a China correspondent for the US daily The Boston Globe. He was contributing editor to The World Post.

He will be cremated at 6:15 pm at Nigam Bodh Ghat.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condoled the passing away of Jehangir Pocha.

The Prime Minister said he was shocked and saddened to hear about Jehangir Pocha's demise.

"My condolences to his family in this hour of grief. May his soul rest in peace. Jehangir Pocha will be remembered as a leading voice on TV, print & social media. His frank & insightful views on issues will be missed," the Prime Minister said.
