New Delhi, Aug 8 (IBNS) Heavy security arrangements have been made at the residence of Justice Dipak Misra after he received an anonymous threat letter.

Reports said a  bullet proof vehicle has been provided to him, while commandos from central paramilitary force have been deployed at his residence.

Justice Misra headed the three-member Supreme Court bench which rejected the last  plea of 1993 Mumbai blasts convict Yakub Memon against his execution.

has received a threatening letter, reports said.

The letter, addressed to Justice Misra said: "irrespective of the protection you may avail, we will eliminate you."

Justices Misra, Amitav Roy and Prafulla Pant spent two hours starting at about 3 am on July 30 before they ruled against stopping the execution, scheduled that day.

The judges said that Memon had ample time and opportunity to challenge his death sentence and that he had exhausted all legal options.
