Jyotiraditya Scindia removes Congress from Twitter bio

Bhopal/IBNS: Triggering speculation, Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia has removed the name of his party Congress from the bio of his Twitter handle.

The bio of Scindia, a former Guna MP, reads, "Public servant, cricket enthusiast."

Scindia, who is known to be close to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, was one of the main architects of the grand old party's win in Madhya Pradesh in December last year.

However, veteran leader Kamal Nath was appointed as the Chief Minister.

Ever since Kamal Nath became the Chief Minister, demands to appoint Scindia as the state chief have been coming from different corners of the party.

Scindia had lost his Guna seat in 2019 General Elections to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Krishna Pal Singh.
