Karnataka: Two teen-aged students feared drowned

Bidar, Karnataka, Apr 22 (UNI) Two teen-aged students feared drowned in Karanja river near Belahali village of Bhalki taluk in the districts in the early hours of Monday while trying to take selfie.

Police said that the deceased were identified as Vishvanath Patil (17) and Nagaraj (16 ).

The victims, native of Humnabad town in the District, ventured close to the river and were trying to click a selfie standing on a slippery rock when the water gushed all of a sudden and they fell into the river.

Operation is in full swing to recover the bodies.

Dhanour police have registered a case.
