Srinagar, Apr 16 (UNI) Unidentified persons on Tuesday hurled a grenade at the residence of a National Conference (NC) leader at Tral in south Kashmir district of Pulwama.

Official sources said that unknown persons lobbed a grenade at the residence of NC leader Muhammad Ashraf Bhat at Tral on Tuesday. “Bhat was addressing NC workers at his residence when the incident happened,” they said.

They said NC candidate from Anantnag Lok Sabha seat Hasnain Masoodi was also present in the meeting.

They said security forces have been rushed to the areas and a search operation has been launched to nab the attackers.
