KCR takes oath as Telangana chief minister

Hyderabad, Dec 13 (IBNS): K. Chandrasekhar Rao, popularly known as KCR, took as the chief minister of Telangana for the second term in a row here on Thursday.

Rao's party TRS won 88 seats of the 119-member Assembly in the recently-concluded elections.


Telangana governor E.S.L. Narasimhan administered the oath at 1.25pm sharp, which KCR considered an auspicious time.

 
The new cabinet of ministers will be sworn in next week, reports said.
