Thiruvananthapuram/UNI: Police on Friday nabbed four persons including the husband of a woman in connection with her gang-rape at Kandinakulam in this district.

Police said she was force-fed alcohol and raped by a six member gang on Thursday evening. Later, the woman who was found on the road side has been admitted to the Chirayinkeezhu hospital by the locals last night.

As the woman was unconscious, police could not record her statement yesterday night. The arrest of the culprits will be recorded after taking her statement and getting her medical report, police added.

On Thursday afternoon, the husband took his wife, a native of Kaniyapuram, to a house near Puthukurichi beach. Later, he and his friends had a booze session. After that they forced her to drink alcohol and gang-raped.
