Kolkata: 5 held for molesting actress

Kolkata, Jan 10 (IBNS): The Kolkata Police on Monday night booked five men for allegedly molesting an actress and beating her companion, reports said.

The actress claimed that five men used abusive words and gesture to her and molested her at Lake Gardens Dhaka Kalibari area in south Kolkata, while she was returning from a new year party with her family and friends on Dec 31-Jan 1 midnight.

Those youths allegedly beat the actress's friend for protesting against the molestation, according to reports.

Later, the actress lodged an FIR against the 5 men at Jadavpur Police Station and basing on CCTV footage, police on Monday nabbed all accused, involved in the case, and seized a car (Toyota Innova) from their possession.
