LeT militant nabbed in north Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 4 (IBNS): One LeT militant was apprehended during a joint operation of the Army and the Police in Sopore town of north Kashmir along with arms and ammunition, sources said.

The militant was identified as Omar Khalid Mir.

"On tip of, information we launched a search operation in Tujar village of Sopore Town in north Kashmir to flush out the militants. Meanwhile, one militant Omar Khalid Mir was apprehended alive when he was trying to break the cordon on Thursday evening," said a senior police official.

"During the search operation, we recovered one AK-47 and three magazines from his possession," the official added.
