Maharashtra: 16 injured in bus mishap

Thane, Nov 7 (IBNS): At least 16 people were injured as a bus, in which they were travelling, toppled in Thane area of Maharashtra on Monday, media reports said.

The bus was going to Dhangadhi in Nepal from Borivli when the mishap reportedly occurred.

The injured people were rushed to hospital for treatment.

An official from the regional disaster management cell in Thane was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times, “Of the 16, seven have been admitted to Vedant hospital while the remaining were taken to Citizen hospital. The Kasarwadavli police are on the spot.”
