Maharashtra: Four dead, two injured as car hits roadside tree in Aurangabad

Aurangabad, Maharashtra/UNI: Four persons were reportedly killed while two sustained injuries when their car collided with a roadside tree near Golwadi Phata on Aurangabad-Pune road here on Saturday.

The deceased have been identified as Akash More (30), Akshay Shilwant (30), Amol Gavalkar (22) and Datta Dange (22), police said.


According to police, the accident took place in wee hours of today when the six members hailing from Sevali Ner village of Jalna district were travelling towards Shirdi.


When they reached near Golwadi Phata, the driver lost control over the vehicle which dashed against a roadside tree.


The fatal collision killed four persons on the spot while other two were left injured, stated police.


The injured have been admitted to the Government Medical College and Hospital here.
