Maharashtra Governor on 2-day visit of Nandurbar

Nandurbar/UNI:Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari arrived here on Thursday on a two-day visit of the tribal-dominated district.

On the first day, Mr Koshyari toured the Molgi village, where he visited the Nutrition Rehabilitation Centre at Rural Hospital, Satpuda Natural Bhagar Processing Industry unit under Women’s Economic Development Corporation and Kendra Akkalkua, a unit run by Rani Kajal Sanstha.

Later, he visited Bhagadari Ashram school, where he interacted with tribal students.

The Governor promised to set up one of the sports academy in the district.

He was accompanied by Nandurbar guardian minister Advocate K C Padvi, MP Hina Gavit, chief secretary of Raj Bhavan Santosh Kumar, Zilla Parishad president Adv Seema Valavi, district collector Dr Rajendra Bharud, District Council chief executive officer Vinay Gowda, assistant collector & Project officer Avishant Panda and District surgeon Dr Raghunath Bhoye.
