Maharashtra govt. orders probe into Zakir Naik's speeches

Mumbai, July 8 (IBNS): In the wake of the recent Dhaka terror attack, the Maharashtra government on Thursday ordered a probe into the speeches delivered by Islamic preacher and televangelist Zakir Naik, reports said.
Naik's alleged hate speeches are believed to be a source of inspiration for the Dhaka attackers and the government have promised strict action if he's found guilty.

The BJP also took on Congressman Digvijiya Singh after an old video of him alongside Naik surfaced. The two were attending an event together, promoting communal harmony, sometime in 2008.
