Maharashtra: Two dead in road accident in Nashik

Nashik, Apr 26 (UNI) Two people were killed while a woman sustained serious injuries when their motorcycle dashed against a car near Swami Samarth Lawns at Nashik-Satana road here, police said on Friday.

According to Police, the accident occurred when the motorcycle rider was manoeuvring to overtake a bus and he collided with a car.


The deceased were identified as Sunil Khairnar (38), Latabai Suryavanshi (37) , both residents of Satana tehsil of this district.


The injured, Sangita Khairnar, was rushed to Malegaon-based private hospital.


A case have been registered and investigation was underway, police added.
