Maldivian Foreign Minister Mohamed Asim meets Sushma Swaraj

New Delhi, Aug 16 (IBNS): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday met new Maldivian Foreign Minister Mohamed Asim here.

Asim is currently visiting India.

This is his first visit to India after assuming office.

MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted: "India First! Reiterating Maldives' trust, FM Mohamed Asim meets EAM @SushmaSwaraj on his 1st official visit abroad."

The details of the meeting is still not known.
