Mamata Banerjee launches “BJP Quit India†movement
Banerjee said she will go for a tour of different states in order to garner support her party TMC's “BJP Quit India” movement.
"I will go to New Delhi tomorrow. On August 27, I shall attend an anti-BJP rally at Patna. On August 30, I shall visit Jharkhand that is witnessing frequent incidences of attacks over dalits," Mamata Banerjee was quoted as saying at an event.
Referring to the victory of Congress leader Ahmed Patel in the Rajya Sabha, Mamata Banerjee said:"Yesterday throughout the night we saw the battle between democracy and autocracy. I am glad that finally democracy won."
