Mamata Banerjee to take oath as West Bengal CM on Friday

Kolkata, May 27 (IBNS) Mamata Banerjee, on Friday, will take her oath as the chief minister of West Bengal, her second term, in an elaborate ceremony to be held at Kolkata's Red Road.
Her 41 ministers, including 18 new faces, will also take oath, in batches, on Friday.
 
Guests have started arriving in Kolkata.  Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his ally Lalu Yadav, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav of the Samajwadi Party have either arrived or are likely to arrive, according to media reports.
 
Actors Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan are also likely to attend.
 
However, the leading opposition parties in the state have said they will not be attending the oath ceremony.
