Bhopal, Feb 3 (IBNS): In a shocking incident, a young woman was allegedly killed by her lover in Bhopal and then dumped inside a metal box for two months, media reports said.

Akansha Sharma, 28, had been first strangled by her lover, after which her body was placed in a metal box.

The box was then buried inside a concrete box which had marble surface on top.

According to reports, police used large drills for three hours on Thursday night to extricate the body of Sharma.

According to reports, she met her lover Udyan Das on Facebook and had been living in with him.

According to the police, Akansha reportedly told her parents that she was moving to the US, and kept in touch with them till December.

When her parents stopped getting any communication from her after December they lodged an FIR.

Following which, the police traced her phone records to Bhopal.

Das has confessed to killing Akansha two months ago during a fight.
