Markandey Katju recommends Muslims to eat ham, bacon & sausage

New Delhi, Oct 4 (IBNS): Former Press Council of India chief Justice Markandey Katju has triggered a controversy as he recommended Muslims to 'eat ham, bacon & sausage' and said they will 'enjoy' them.

"There is nothing wrong in eating Pork. I recommend to Muslims, as I do to everyone, to start eating ham, bacon & sausages. They'll enjoy it,"Katju tweeted.

"All religions are false and superstitions. The truth lies in science. Science is not something final but is constantly developing," he said.

Speaking on beef consumption, he had earlier said: "90 ( or is it 95 )% of both Hindus& Muslims in India r idiots. When I said there is nothing wrong in eating beef, particularly when most of world eats it, most Hindus attacked me. Now when i said that there is nothing wrong in eating pork, because now pigs are raised in modern dairies and are therefore clean, most Muslims attacked me Kabir has rightly said 'Arey yeh donon raah na payeen'."
