Lucknow/UNI: Bahujan Samaj Party(BSP) chief Mayawati has demanded stern action against the officials and others sitting on the top posts which led to the scam of over Rs 2200 crore in which UPPCL had invested the employees money in the private DHFL.

In her late reaction on Tuesday, Mayawati said by recommending CBI probe the things would not be solved and UP government should not take it so easy for its own lapses.

"The government should immediately take action against the senior officials and other higher ups who are responsible for this scam as people of the state are waiting for their act," she said in a couple of tweets.

In another tweet she blamed the BJP for not protecting the hard earned money of the employees and demanded that the government should ensure the loss of the money.

"The BJP government failed to stop the scam and now blaming others," Mayawati said.
