MCD polls: BJP takes early lead, AAP takes third place

New Delhi, Apr 26 (IBNS): Contrary to their claims of capturing Delhi again, the Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is trailing in the recent poll trends as counting began early on Wednesday for the recently concluded Delhi Municipal Corporation elections, reports said.

The BJP is leading the race with a significant lead in over 70 seats across all three municipal corporations in the national capital.

The Congress is second with a lead in over 20 seats.

Aam Aadmi party has managed a lead in 14 out of the 272 seats.
