MIG 21 crashes in Rajasthan, pilot and co-pilot eject to safety

New Delhi, Sept 10 (IBNS) : A MiG-21 aircraft of the Indian Air Force has crashed near Barmer in Rajasthan, The Times of India reports.

Quoting a spokesperson of the Ministry of Defence, the ToI said no  casualties have been reported as the  pilot and the co-pilot managed to eject safely .

According to reports, the fighter aircraft took off from Uttarlai airbase on the outskirts of Barmer, but crashed moments later.

Tha IAF has ordered an inquiry into the incident.
