Migrant passenger travelling in Shramik Special delivers a baby

Bhubaneswar/UNI: A migrant lady passenger of Shramik Special express today delivered a female child at Titilagarh.

East Coast Railway(ECoR) sources here said Hema Kanti, the lady passenger was travelling by 07087 Shramik Special Express from Kazipet to Bolangir. She reported delivery pain at Titilagargha Railway Station at 0940 hours.

She delivered a female baby at 1015hours with the help of Railway Divisional Medical Officer. The mother and the infant were deboarded and shifted to Titilagarh government hospital. Both the mother and the child are fine.

Railway sources said this is the second such delivery case on train in Odisha in less than 48 hours. Another child was born in Shramik Special train at Bolangir two days back

In another incident the body of an 18 year lady passenger was found  in the coach No S10 of 08302 Vishakhapatnam- Bolangir  Shramik a special express this morning.

Police identified the deceased as Radha Khara of Ranji village under Baipariguda block of Koraput District.

Though the exact cause of the death was not yet known, one of her relatives who were travelling with her said she had complained of pain in the heart earlier.
