Minor fire breaks at PM Modi's house, situation under control now

New Delhi/IBNS: A minor fire broke out Prime Minister Narendra Modi's house in the national capital's Kalyan Marg on Monday evening, which was soon brought under control.

The fire that was reported around 7:20 pm, was brought under control by the security officers.

According to the PMO, the fire did not spread to the residential or office area but broke out in the Special Protection Group reception area of the Lok Kalyan Marg complex.

The fire was caused by a short circuit.

As many as nine fire engineer rushed to the spot, media reports said.

"There was a minor fire at 9, Lok Kalyan Marg caused by a short circuit. This was not in PM’s residential or office area but in the SPG reception area of the LKM complex. The fire is very much under control now," PMO tweeted.
