ML Khattar set to become Haryana CM for second term

Chandigarh/IBNS: Manohar Lal Khattar is set to become the Haryana Chief Minister for the second term as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) is forming the next state government in an alliance.

"I announce that ML Khattar has been elected as the BJP legislative party leader," Union Minister and BJP leader Ravishankar Prasad said.

Khattar will meet Haryana Governor Satyadev Narayan Arya next.

After the BJP, which won 40 seats, failed to get the majority in the Haryana assembly polls, it has stitched a deal with the JJP which has 10 seats under its belt.
