Modi government worked towards development for all : Amit Shah

| @indiablooms | May 26, 2018, at 09:52 pm

New Delhi, May 26 (IBNS): On the day when the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is celebrating the fourth year of its government at the Centre, the national president of the saffron outfit, Amit Shah, has once again emphasised on the "Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas" or "development for all" agenda of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Interacting with media, Shah said: "Modi government has worked towards making 'development for all' a reality."

Hitting out at the Congress indirectly, Shah said: "Narendra Modi government has replaced dynasty, appeasement or caste politics with politics of performance".

In 2014, the BJP had stormed to power by winning 282 Lok Sabha seats to form a full-majority government at the Centre after 30 years.

The BJP had ended a 10-year rule of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA)- led by the Congress- at the Centre in 2014.

Praising Modi, who shouldered BJP's campaign since 2013, Shah said: "The BJP has gifted the most hardworking Prime Minister to the country. It is a proud thing for us."

Refreshing the anti-corruption image of the BJP, Shah said: "The BJP feels proud that it has given a corruption-free, decisive step-taking and pro-farmers government under the leadership of Narendra Modi."

Shah has also flaunted his government's works towards increasing income of people and farmers' budget.

The BJP president also credited Modi government for making Indian economy the fastest in the world.

Taking a swipe at the possible rainbow coalition by the disparate opposition forces, Shah said, unlike the Opposition, the BJP government's aim is to drive out poverty and corruption and bring development in the country.

He has also stressed on the government's policy of tolerance in the border regions.

Though the BJP had lost a few Lok Sabha seats in the recent by-polls, the saffron outfit is still the most dominant political party in the country.

However, Narendra Modi and the BJP are likely to face a united Opposition in the next General Elections, scheduled to be held in 2019.

Several disparate opposition forces are teaming up with an aim to defeat the BJP in the next Lok Sabha polls.
