Modi greets Japanese PM Shinzo Abe on his birthday
New Delhi, Sept 21 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday greeted his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe on his birthday.
​"​I pray for ​Mr. Shinzo Abe's long life, good health ​and wish him the best in leading Japan to new heights of progress​," the Prime Minister said in a tweet.
Modi went on to praise the leadership of Prime Minister Abe and emphasized both countries' commitment to promoting Indo-Japan relations.
"Whenever I interact with ​him, I cannot but marvel at his insight ​and expertise on a wide range of issues, both local ​and international.​ Both PM ​Abe and I are committed to taking India-Japan relations to the next level ​and contributing to global peace ​and development​," the PM said.​
