Modi refers to James Bond, Brooke Bond as he mentions about Rupee Bond
London Nov 13 (IBNS): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the members of the Indian community at the Wembley Stadum here on Friday and referred to fictional British secret service agent James Bond to mention about the Rupee Bond launched by the Indian Railways.
"Bond reminds me of James Bond and Bond also reminds me of Brooke Bond tea....But moving forward from entertainment or refreshment, we need to see development," Modi said.
He said: "We are moving forward from James Bond and Brooke Bond to go to Rupee Bond."
The Indian community member cheered aloud as Modi made reference to the Rupee Bond.
Modi arrived in the UK on Thursday.
