Modi to inaugurate 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention tomorrow

Indore/UNI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to formally inaugurate the 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention on Monday in Madhya Pradesh’s commercial capital.

The theme of the convention is ‘Diaspora: Reliable partners for India’s progress in Amrit Kaal’.

Over 3,500 members from nearly 70 countries have registered.

The first segment commences on Sunday itself in partnership with the Youth Affairs and Sports Ministry. Guyana President Mohamed Irfaan Ali and his Suriname counterpart Chandrikapersad Santokhi will be among the dignitaries in attendance.

On Tuesday, President Droupadi Murmu shall confer Samman Awards and preside over the Valedictory Session.
