Nagaland extends total lockdown till June 11

Guwahati: The Nagaland government on Friday extended the total lockdown in the state till June 11.

In a notification issued by Nagaland Chief Secretary J Alam said the extension of the existing guidelines with regard to lockdown to remain operative in Nagaland till June 11.

In view of COVID-19 surge in the state the Nagaland government had imposed lockdown first on May 14 for seven days and it was extended till May 31.

The High Powered Committee (HPC) on COVID-19 headed by Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Friday had recommended the state government to extend the total lockdown in the state till June 11.
