Narendra Modi leaves for India after attending SCO Summit in China

Beijing, June 10 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday left China for India after attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

"Zàijiàn! After a historic participation in SCO Summit and multiple bilateral meetings in Qingdao, PM @narendramodi emplanes for Delhi," MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted.

This was the first time India is participating in the event as a full member.

Apart from attending the summit, Modi also met several world leaders including Chinese President Xi Jinping.

He also shook hand with Pakistan President Mamnoon Hussain on Sunday after a press conference by the leaders of the SCO.
