Narendra Modi reaches France for G7 Summit, meets British PM Boris Johnson

Biarritz, Aug 25 (IBNS): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday reached France to attend the G7 summit and has already met British PM Borish Johnson at the sidelines of the event here.

Officials said the two leaders discussed on strengthening the bilateral relations between the two nations.

"PM @narendramodi had a good meeting with UK PM @BorisJohnson on margins of #G7 summit. Discussions focused on strengthening our bilateral ties going forward, inter alia, in trade & investment, defence & security, S & T and education sectors," MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted.



Johnson became the British PM recently.

Modi reached Paris for the summit after completing his visit to Bahrain.
