NCP leader Eknath Khadse suffers heart attack, airlifted to Mumbai

Jalgaon/IBNS/UNI: Former Maharashtra Minister and senior NCP (Sharad Pawar group) leader Eknath Khadse suffered a heart attack on Sunday afternoon.

According to reports, he was first admitted to a hospital in Jalgaon but was later shifted to Mumbai for further treatment.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde directed authorities to immediately arrange an air ambulance to bring Khadse to Mumbai.

His daughter Rohini Khadse first contacted the Chief Minister after her father's health deteriorated.

Following this, the Chief Minister immediately arranged for an air ambulance and Khadse was immediately flown to Mumbai for treatment.

He was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai, where a team of doctors is monitoring him.
