Nitish appeals for no further dispute after SC verdict on Ayodhya dispute
Patna/UNI: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today appealed to all sections of the society to respect the Supreme Court's verdict on the long pending Ayodhya dispute, saying it was a clear judgement and there should be no further dispute over the issue.
Nitish Kumar, reacting over the historic judgement on Ayodhya dispute by a five judge bench of Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice R S Gogoi, said it was a clear verdict and it must be respected by all sections of the society.There should not be any further dispute over the issue, he appealed.
"Supreme Court has also given some responsibility to government in its judgement", the chief minister said adding that the historic verdict would be of great help in promoting peace, amity and brotherhood in the society.
As it is, Supreme Court ruled this morning that the disputed land of Ayodhya belonged to Hindus where they have been performing worship of Ram Lalla since long.
The Court also ordered the government to provide five acres of land in prime location of Ayodhya for construction of a mosque.
