New Delhi/IBNS: Making a clarification in the Parliament, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday said no documents are required for the National Population Register (NPR).

He also stated that no one will be declared "doubtful."

Responding to a discussion on the Delhi violence in the Rajya Sabha, Shah said: "No document needs to be submitted. You can give whatever information you have and leave the other questions blank."

On being asked by a Congress leader whether "D" would be removed, the Home Minister replied: "There will be no doubtful category... nobody will be put under this category."
