New Delhi, May 31 (IBNS): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Sunday said there is no 'flip-flop' in the country's policy against Pakistan.

She said both the nations had set three principles for their talks.

"There is no flip-flop at all  in our policy and we had decided on three principles for talks when Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif had come to the country to participate in the swearing-in ceremony of Narendra Modi. Since then we have followed three crucial principles for talks...First of all, we are always ready to solve any issue through peaceful dialogues," she said.

"Second, the talks will be  held between the two nations and there will be no third country or party to mediate. Third, terror and violence should be kept away and an an atmosphere of harmony should be created," Swaraj said while addressing a press conference here.

Swaraj said Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Israel.

"The Prime Minister will visit Israel. However, dates have not been finalised. The visit will take place  as per mutually convenient dates."

He will be the first Indian PM to visit the country.

Speaking on the PM's upcoming visit to Bangladesh, Swaraj said she is confident that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will visit the nation along with  Modi.
