'No summons issued, in Delhi for work': NCB officer probing Aryan Khan case

New Delhi/IBNS: Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer Sameer Wankhede, who is leading the probe into the drugs case involving Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, reached Delhi on Monday evening but denied that he had been summoned by any agency.

At the airport, Wankhede was surrounded by reporters, where he said that he is in the national capital for some work.

"I absolutely stand by my investigation, 100 percent," he told mediapersons.

Wankhede's visit to Delhi comes amid the row over payback allegations and his war of words with Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Nawab Malik.

Mallik had questioned the seizure by the NCB asking whether even the officials are capable of identifying illicit drugs.

According to an NDTV report, in an affidavit, private investigator KP Gosavi's personal bodyguard, Prabhakar Sail, claimed he has heard KP Gosavi speak to one Sam D'Souza of an 18 crore deal, of which 8 crore was to be paid to Sameer Wankhede.

In the same evening, KP Gosavi, Sam D'Souza and Shah Rukh Khan's manager Pooja Dadlani, had a 15-minute meeting inside a car.

He even said he had received the money from KP Gosavi and handed it over to Sam D'Souza near Trident Hotel. When the cash was counted, it amounted to 38 lakh and not 50 lakh, he said in the affidavit.

Sail was one of the nine witnesses NCB named in a press release on October 6.
