NSA Ajit Doval gets cabinet rank in central government
New Delhi, Jun 3 (IBNS): National Security Adviser (NSA) Ajit Doval got a cabinet rank in the central government on Monday, media reports said.
Doval's term as the NSA has also been extended. He will remain in his post for another five years.
He was appointed as the NSA in 2014.
It was under Doval, India carried out surgical strikes after the URI terror attack and airstrike following the Pulwama terror attack.
Doval is a former IB chief and a legendary intelligence operative.
