NSCN (K-Nikki Sumi) militant nabbed in Nagaland

Guwahati/IBNS: Security forces have apprehended a militant of NSCN (K-Nikki Sumi) faction.

Assam Rifles cracked on the perpetrators and apprehended the prime suspect of Grenade lobbing incident that took place at Dhansiri Assam Rifles camp in Nagaland on early hours of Oct10.

Following the incident, the troops of Assam Rifles had launched operation and nabbed a militant of NSCN (K-Nikki Sumi) faction near his residence at Purana Bazar.

Security personnel had recovered one 9 mm pistol and three live rounds of ammunition.

The nabbed militant admitted to committing this crime on orders of NSCN (K-Nikki) faction.

Assam Rifles made it very clear, by nabbing the culprit that no faction, organization attempting to derail NPA or disturb the peace of Dimapur town will be spared at any cost.

The apprehended militant along with recovered items was handed over to East Police Station, Dimapur for further investigation.
