Militant Nabbed

NSCN (KN) militant nabbed with arms in Nagaland

Guwahati/IBNS: Security forces have apprehended a hardcore militant of NSCN (KN) in Nagaland’s Dimapur district.

In an operation along with police representatives, Assam Rifles troops apprehended the NSCN (KN) militant in general area of Nuiland in Dimapur district.

Based on specific input, security forces along with police representatives launched an operation and apprehended the individual, recovering two Air Rifles, two point 22 Rifle butts, two Telescopic sights, 60 rounds of live ammunition of point 22, seven rounds of live ammunition of 7.62mm (303 Rifle), 18 rounds of live ammunition of 12 Bore Rifle, 1490 pellets of Air Rifle and one Silencer assembly.

The apprehended militant along with the recovered items have been handed over to Nuiland   police station, for further investigation.
