Obama quotes SRK's dialogue, actor promises 'Chhaiya Chhaiya' next time
The crowd cheered aloud as Obama said: "Senorita, bade bade deshon...You know what I mean."
The dialogue is from Shah Rukh Khan's popular 1995 released movie 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge'.
Speaking on Obama's speech, Khan tweeted: "Proud 2 b part of the gender & religion equality speech of Pres. Obama. Sad he couldn't do the Bhangra...next time Chaiyya Chaiyya for sure."
A touch of Bollywood was again felt in the Siri Fort Auditorium when the song 'Mitwa' from another superstar Aamir Khan's movie 'Lagaan' was played at the end of Obama's speech.
Ending their three-day visit to India, Barack Obama and Michelle Obama boarded their special Airforce One flight at around 1-55 pm.
The flight took off at around 2 pm from Palam Airport. Obamas are headed for Saudi Arabia to offer condolences for the death of King Abdullah.
Obama became the first US president to take part in the Republic Day parade of India at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During the visit the two leaders also had a breakthrough in the stalled civil nuclear deal.
