Pakistan opens fire at BSF posts in Jammu, India retaliates

Jammu, Aug 17 (IBNS): In a fresh incidence of ceasefire violation, the Pakistani Army fired at two Border Security Force (BSF) posts in Arania area of RS Pura Sector in Jammu on Sunday morning.
Firing from both sides started at 3 AM and continued till 5:30 AM on Sunday.
 
The firing forced the Indian soldiers to retaliate.
 
The BSF's retaliation provoked fierce gun battle between the two sides. 
 
The firing has, however, stopped in Arania.
 
Senior BSF official in Jammu  told IBNS that the Pakistani Army fired on BSF posts at RS Pura Sector during the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday which continued till morning.
 
He denied reports of any casualty from Indian side .
