India is retaliating to the unprovoked ceasefire violation.

"Indian Army is retaliating befittingly," the spokesperson added.

No injury or damage has been reported so far on India's side.

Pakistani troops had also violated the ceasefire by firing unprovoked in Poonch on Tuesday and Sunday, injuring a civilian.
