New Delhi, Dec 18 (IBNS): The parliament session on Tuesday began on a fiery note with a major face-off between the government and Opposition over the Rafale issue and 1984 anti-Sikh riot leading to adjournment of both the Houses, media reports said.

ok Sabha, the lower House of  parliament, has been adjourned till noon.

Rajya Sabha, the upper House, has been adjourned till 2 pm.

Earlier, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) MPs had staged a protest outside  parliament against the Narendra Modi government over job crisis.

The Delhi High Court on Monday convicted Congress leader Sajjan Kumar and sentenced to jail "for the remainder of his natural life" in the 1984 anti-Sikh riot case, annulling his acquittal by a lower court earlier.
