PDP legislator attacked by mob on way to Srinagar

Srinagar, Jul 18 (IBNS): A legislator from the ruling People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Jammu and Kashmir, Mohammad Khalil Bandh, was injured in a mob attack while travelling to Srinagar from Pulwama on Sunday right, according to media reports.
The lawmaker's car was pelted with stones by the mob, when he was travelling around one am. The car flipped as the driver tried to speed away.
 
The injured lawmaker was taken to an army hospital
 
Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Munirul Islam said that condition of Mr Bandh is stable, reported NDTV.
 
According to media reports, several members of the PDP have faced attacks during violent protests following the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Burhan Wani in a police operation on July 8.
