PM Modi expresses sadness over the demise of Sister Nirmala

New Delhi, June 23 (IBNS): Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has expressed sadness over the demise of Sister Nirmala, the former head of the Missionaries of Charity, the order of nun founded by late Nobel laureate Mother Teresa.

"Sister Nirmala's life was devoted to service, caring for the poor and underprivileged. Saddened by her demise. May her soul rest in peace," said the PM.

"My deepest condolences to the Missionaries of Charity family on the passing away of Sister Nirmala", the Prime Minister said.
