PM Modi meets President, Vice-President, wishes on new year

New Delhi, Jan 1 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday met President Pranab Mukherjee and Vice-President M Hamid Ansari to greet them on new year.

"Met Rashtrapati ji and greeted him on the start of the new year. @RashtrapatiBhvn," Modi tweeted.

He said: "Extended new year greetings to Vice President Shri Hamid Ansari."

India and rest of the world are celebrating new year on Sunday.
