PM Modi returns to India on Saturday after completion of Informal Summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping
New Delhi, Apr 28 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at New Delhi, on Saturday, after the completion of his informal Summit, in Wuhan, China, according to media reports.
He was welcomed at the airport by External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and President of People's Republic of China Xi Jinping held their first Informal Summit in Wuhan on Apr 27-28, 2018, to exchange views on overarching issues of bilateral and global importance, and to elaborate their respective visions and priorities for national development in the context of the current and future international situation.

While in China, Prime Minister Modi tweeted, "The talks with President Xi Jinping focussed on diverse areas of India-China cooperation. We discussed ways to give impetus to our economic ties as well as people-to-people relations. Other areas we spoke about include agriculture, technology, energy and tourism."
Both leaders also reiterated the importance of building an open, multipolar, pluralist and participatory global economic order which will enable all countries to pursue their development and contribute to the elimination of poverty and inequality in all regions of the world.
