New Delhi, Sept 4 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on Friday expected to attend the concluding day meeting of the Rashtriya Swyamsevak Sangh, the ideological mentor of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, being held in the national capital.

The meeting, chaired by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has over the last three days focused on hammering out ways to change the  negative perceptions about the 15-month-old Modi government growing among people because of some recent controversies and political fallouts.

The meeting is also aimed at better coordination between the Sangh Parivar and the BJP government.

Reports said the RSS has offered suggestions to the government in crucial areas like the economy, education and national security. Senior ministers in the Modi government are participating in the meeting.

BJP general secretary Ram Madhav has said "all national and economic issues are on the agenda," at the closed-door event, also being attended by 15 affiliates of the RSS.

Among the ministers who have made presentations include Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj, Defence Minister Manohar Parrihar and Human Resource Minister Smriti Irani.
